Academic Advising for Full-time and Part-time Programs

Academic advisors are here to provide you with information about RRC Polytech’s full-time, part-time and online programs, plus their admission requirements. Our advisors will help you select the right program to meet your career and academic goals, while connecting you with helpful people, resources, and supports. Together, we’ll come up with a plan for your next steps.

Schedule an appointment

It’s easy to schedule an appointment with an advisor! Simply fill out our online intake form and someone will be in touch within three business days to answer your questions or to schedule an appointment. We’re available Monday to Friday, from 9am to 4pm.

Indigenous Admissions Advising

The Indigenous Admissions Advisor is the first point of contact for students of First Nation, Métis, or Inuit ancestry. It can be helpful to have an advisor that can support and guide you in the right direction. Find out the exciting opportunities available to you.

The advisor can review with you any of the following areas:

  • Programs of interest
  • College Transition and Pathway Programs
  • Review admission requirements,
  • Application processes
  • Registration, including documents that need to be submitted, and
  • Connection to other Indigenous Student Support Team members

International Student Advising

Study, live and work in the heart of Canada! RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
