We are always accepting project applications at the ACE Project Space. Our students are experienced in multiple technology areas:
Submit an application to propose your industry or research project to be developed in the ACE Project Space.
The number of projects accepted is based on the number of students available. Projects are selected by our Advisory Committee based on your project’s educational value and appeal to students.
Instructors meet with the ACE Project Space Advisory Board (a group of industry professionals) to select projects based on the supplied nomination form and the priorities of the Advisory Board. If you identify as or your project explicitly serves the: First Nations, Inuit, and/or Métis community, we encourage you to let us know on your application.
The number of projects that can be taken on in a given term is always dependent on student enrollment. In some cases, we may not know the final student numbers until days before the academic term starts. If your project is selected as one of our successful candidates, we will contact you as far in advance as possible. This may only be a week to two weeks prior to the start of the term in some cases. If we cannot accommodate you – we will contact you to let you know that your project will have to be postponed until a future term.
For more information on our grant funding partnerships and opportunities that may be available to your project, or to discuss your idea, in confidence, with our co-ordinator to ideate an achievable minimum viable product (MVP) within one project term, get in touch with us today.
