Energy Mapping Hackathon & Postsecondary Student Career Development Session

QUEST- Quality Urban Energy Systems of Tomorrow and Student Energy, in collaboration with Natural Resources Canada, are holding a hands-on energy mapping hackathon and student career development session at the Delta Winnipeg Hotel on Wednesday, January 24 from 3:00 – 7:30 pm.

This energy mapping hackathon is part of Generation Energy – a national dialogue inviting all Canadians to share their ideas and participate in defining Canada’s energy future. Postsecondary students will have a chance to visualize their vision for the future of energy use in communities.

Best of all, as part of the energy mapping hackathon, there will be an energy future contest, where the winning team will receive prize packs. And students who sign up and attend as a team of four will be entered into a draw for a prize as well.

Following the energy mapping hackathon, registered participants will be invited to join in enerBeer – a career development reception to support post-secondary student mentorship matchmaking.

Imagining Your Energy Future – Taking Charge is your opportunity to network with energy professionals from across Canada, and be part of the student vision for a Canadian energy future.

Don’t delay – January 24 is approaching fast, and space is limited (25 spots).
