Register now for this March 17 event to learn about award-winning technologies for mobile video collaboration by Winnipeg’s Librestream Technologies. Its Onsight Collaboration Mobile Platform allows companies to bring their experts to field situations virtually, from anywhere, at any time.

Marieke Wijtkamp is the VP of Marketing and Client Services at Librestream, with 15 years of senior leadership experience. Marieke has held prior positions in strategic planning and corporate leadership in several technology companies. Prior to Librestream, she was the President & COO of OMT, serving global radio broadcasters and retail chains. Before that, Marieke was VP, Strategic Planning at Norsat International Inc., a global satellite technology company.
Dave Baxter is the Director of Sales for Midwest at Librestream, with over 20 years’ experience in sales, sales leadership, and strategic customer initiatives. Dave has a proven track record of success in a variety of verticals including the aerospace, manufacturing, and automotive industries.
For manufacturers of high-value equipment for transportation, aerospace, agriculture, mining and other industries, the quality of after-sale support is a key differentiator and critical to a company’s competitiveness.

Steve Thompson has a diverse background in product development and manufacturing, with over twenty years of engineering experience in design, manufacturing, and testing across multiple industries, including construction, agriculture, off-highway, office equipment and packaging. Steve is the Professional Services Director for Fargo-based Applied Engineering Inc., a firm that provides engineering and IT programming expertise to clients in a wide spectrum of manufacturing industries. Applied Engineering has more than 70 engineers and 15 programmers that consult to regional organizations, supporting their product development and manufacturing activities. During his 16 years at Applied Engineering, Steve has worked with many clients at various levels of technological sophistication — from manual operations to “lights-out” 24/7 manufacturing. These experiences have forged his vision for optimizing the use of data and technology into all available areas of an organization.

As the founder and owner of Norjen Technologies, John Kaye has extensive experience specifying and designing computer and embedded electronics for the interfacing between robots and shop floor machines. He has BSc. and Masters Degrees in electrical engineering, and a PhD in industrial engineering. He has worked with Acres Consulting on the Nelson River Power Dam Projects and Wardrop Engineering as project engineer on a $1.5-million solar monitoring program across Canada.
Norjen has worked primarily on automation projects solving many design issues on the interfacing of robotic welders, water cutting robots and pick’n’place robots onto the manufacturing shop floor.
John also served as the Engineer-in-Residence in electrical and computer engineering with the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Manitoba.
