Canadian Security Intelligence Service – Opportunities for Fall 2023

Canadian Security Intelligence Service (CSIS) is offering opportunities to students as co-op placements, internships, as well as summer jobs for students who are not part of a co-op program!

Opportunities for Fall 2023 are available on Canada.ca/CSISjobs. Interested students have until September 30th to apply.

Due to the length of the recruitment and security clearance (Top Secret) process, students apply online one year prior to their planned work terms. Terms can be for 4,8, 12 or 16 months.

Although most positions are located in Ottawa, some are available elsewhere in Canada. Information on specific locations can be found on the postings.

Basic requirements:

  • Be a Canadian Citizen
  • Have 10 years of verifiable background information
  • Full-time status at a recognized academic institution and registered as students at the time of their placement
