You’re Invited to Tech Thursdays with TechMB, StartUp TNT, NorthForge, YES! Winnipeg, and TechWPG.

Each week, this series will showcase work being done by tech companies right here in Winnipeg.

Here is the lineup of speakers for the month of August:

Get Job Search Ready with Career Services & ASC

The Academic Success Centre (ASC) is partnering with Career Services to provide a comprehensive, interactive workshop series on the development of employment documents and skills for students.

The Get Job Search Ready series will be a combination of presentations by the Career Services team supported by ASC workshops on complementary topics including:

  • Job Search Strategies and Networking
  • LinkedIn Profile Development
  • Resumes and Cover Letters
  • Interview Strategies and Practice Opportunities

Students are required to attend or watch the recordings of the Career Services workshops before attending the ASC workshops.

The workshops are designed for students in business-related programs. All students are welcome to attend and adapt the information to their field.

We strive to host inclusive, accessible events that enable all individuals to engage fully. If you require any virtual accommodations including ASL-English interpretation, please email rhiebert30@rrc.ca no later than 5 days before the session and include which sessions you will be attending.

BMO’s Recruiter Ask Us Anything Sessions!

Did you know that BMO is hosting virtual Recruiter Ask Me Anything sessions once a month to help students get a head start on achieving their goals?

During these 60-minute virtual sessions, members of the Enterprise Campus Recruitment Team will provide an overview of the bank and its culture, recruitment timelines and process, as well as tips to stand out as a candidate. They will also have a Q&A segment so that students can ask any questions!
