Apply Now – Manitoba Hydro’s Digital and Technology Career Development Program

Are you a BIT or BTM student graduating in May 2022?  If so, Manitoba Hydro encourages you to apply for their Digital & Technology Career Development Program!

The program consists of various rotations within the Digital & Technology function over a period of approximately 24 months and will assist trainees in their transition from an academic environment to a professional business environment.

Opportunities may include these subject areas:

  • Data and Data Science, including artificial intelligence, automation, IoT and IIoT
  • Cloud Enablement and Security
  • Cyber Security
  • Business Analysis
  • Application Support
  • Network, Database and Server Management
  • Client Services Support

Summer Employment with Manitoba Hydro – Application Deadline: January 31

Manitoba Hydro is currently recruiting for over 250 full-time summer employment opportunities throughout Manitoba.

Jobs are available in a number of areas, including:

  • engineering
  • technology

  • general labour

To be eligible for summer employment, you must be a student who is:

  • enrolled in full-time studies both before and after the work term
  • at least 16 years of age
  • eligible to work in Canada (preference is given to students who live in Manitoba)

The resume matching process begins February 1, 2022, for employment during the May to September work term. Interviews typically run from mid-February until all positions are filled.

Earn $1400 for completing a project through Level UP

Level UP is an innovative Work-Integrated Learning program powered by Riipen and sponsored by the Government of Canada to prepare students in post-secondary education and employers (or organizations) to thrive in the future of work.

Earn $1,400 per person for completing a project, whether in a group or solo.

Students, individually or in groups, connect with organizations for short term paid projects that help them gain relevant work experiences, build professional networks, gain career clarity and develop skills.

Projects must be completed by March 31, 2022 so request for access by January 21, 2022, 11:59 pm ET to be invited to participate.

Eligibility requirements

You must fit all of the following criteria:

  • Be a current student at RRC Polytech
  • Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or persons to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act, and
  • Are legally entitled to work in Canada

At this time, students with temporary residency status are not eligible for Level UP
