Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) Audit Career Fair

If you live in Winnipeg and you are a Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA), an aspiring CPA, or a student who is enrolled in accounting programs/courses you are invited to attend the CRA’s in-person career fair!

This career fair is a great opportunity to connect with experienced auditors and managers at the Canada Revenue Agency and learn about current job opportunities in the Audit division:

While this is a free, drop-in event, attendees are asked to register for a time slot based on their anticipated arrival time: 2pm-3pm, 3pm-4pm, 4pm-5pm or 5pm-6pm.

Parks Canada’s NEW National Skilled Trades Portal

Join the Parks Canada Team with rewarding and fulfilling careers across the country.

The National Skilled Trades Portal is an online inventory of trades positions at Parks Canada locations nationwide.

Parks Canada is seeking apprentices and certified trade workers, including:

  • plumbers
  • carpenters
  • electricians
  • heavy-duty mechanics and mechanics
  • water/wastewater operators
  • small water systems operators
  • painters
  • drivers/operators
  • welders
  • restoration craftspersons

It takes less than 10 minutes to apply, and once candidates submit their applications, they will be considered for dozens of current and future positions across the country.

Access the National Skilled Trades Portal to view a list of current openings along with the corresponding contact information for each location and area of expertise.

Manitoba Hydro’s Power Line Technician Program

May 23, 2023

Now accepting applications! Application deadline: June 13, 2023

This four-year fully paid apprenticeship program includes competency-based trade schools, formal classes, and on-the-job training. During your paid training, you will be rotated to different work locations. After you complete your training and successfully pass testing and evaluation, you will receive a Journeyperson Certificate.

To apply, you must first register and create an online profile through Manitoba Hydro’s external Careers website.

All applications must include:

  • Resume
  • Cover letter
  • High school transcripts
  • Post-secondary school transcripts or training certificates.

The deadline for applications is June 13, 2023.
