Tech Manitoba – Career Connections Hiring Event

Virtual hiring event – May 4, 12-3PM

  • Career Connections, brought to you by Tech Manitoba, connects industry to virtually meet with newcomers to Manitoba who have mid-level tech skills AND experience and are interested in exploring employment opportunities in the Manitoba tech sector.
  • By providing a space for connection and engagement, Career Connections aims to:
    • Give employers access to newcomers with tech experience, helping to secure talent and strengthen their workforce.
    • Showcase industry and promote Manitoba as a desirable place to work.
    • Help skilled tech newcomers network with industry, providing a forum where attendees can access insider information as to what employers are looking for.

How it works:
• Newcomers with a technology background and several years of experience can sign up to
save an attendee spot. Registration now open and closes end of day April 26th.
• Companies get to know job seekers before the conference by searching the attendee
directory (job-seeker profile forms)
• At Career Connections event, tech companies showcase their workplace and current job
opportunities at a pitch session.
• Job seekers will hear the company pitches.
• Following the workplace pitches, company representatives move into breakout tables and
meet the jobseekers, ‘face-to-face’ for informal speed-dating styled conversations.

participating companies who may be hiring now or in the near future, register by April 26th.
