Intensive English for International Students
The Intensive English for International Students (IEIS) is a full-time pathway designed to develop language skills for those studying, living, and working in Canada. After completing the pathway, students will join one of RRC Polytech’s academic programs.
Students will:
- Develop listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Improve vocabulary, pronunciation, and grammar.
- Learn using advanced technology and online resources.
- Learn to communicate appropriately in the Canadian academic context and workplace.
RRC Polytech campuses are located on the lands of Anishinaabe, Ininiwak, Anishininew, Dakota, and Dené, and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis.
We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
