Thrive Week is a time to focus on the importance of balance and self-care in developing positive mental health that supports success in learning and working.

We invite you to take a moment to do something that gets you active, creative, connected or relaxed – whatever it is you need for balance. All events are free and open to students and staff.

Participate in one of our events offered virtually or in-person: Don Amero – Keynote presentation, Hip Hop Challenge, Self-Defense Demo, Therapy Dogs, Explore the Universe Planetarium show, Mini Golf, Indigenous Infused Yoga, Movie and Popcorn Lunch, Library Puzzles/Adult Colouring stations and a Birds Hill Provincial Park hike.

   • A simulation of an actual job interview that gives someone the chance to practice what to say and do during an interview and receive feedback.

They are often among the top skills employers seek in the candidates they hire because soft skills are important for all jobs.

Join this session to learn about Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) and the ways prior learning is recognized at Red River College Polytechnic. A review of the RPL process, timelines, requirements to participate and RPL fees are some of the topics that will be explored. Individuals will have the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation.
