Occupation-specific programs help you develop your English skills for further training or employment. These programs will help you continue your studies or get a job in a specific job market, such as nursing or business. There are both part-time and full-time programs offered in person, online, or in a blended format.
Some programs have guest speakers, informational interviews, workplace exposure, and career observations. In all classes, we emphasize learning and using appropriate communication for jobs in Canada.

“Involving us in the process of learning rather than teaching was the greatest approach I had seen. Applying all the speaking, writing, listening and reading strategies in [industry-related] tasks encouraged me to study and count this program as a bridge to my future profession.”
– Samaneh, Former Student
Note: You must get an English language assessment from WELARC (Winnipeg English Language Assessment and Referral Centre).
