RRC Polytech is offering the diploma program, Early Childhood Education Workplace, for the Stonewall and Rockwood communities. This is the perfect opportunity to elevate your training while working in your community.
ECE Workplace is an accelerated program that equips participants with the knowledge, training and credentials required to become a Level II Early Childhood Educator. The program is designed to enhance employment prospects and achieve professional goals, all while you continue working.
Through theoretical and practical learning, you’ll integrate your existing experience as a child care assistant (CCA) while building your professional skills of an early childhood educator. Throughout the program, you will gain practical experience by completing a practicum at your current place of employment provided with guidance and support of a practicum liaison.
This specialized program is tailored for experienced CCAs employed in licensed child care facilities throughout Manitoba. You will dedicate two days per week to academic coursework while continuing your current position for the remaining three days.
