The Academic Success Centre offers a variety of free services to help students including: understanding and studying new material, preparing for tests, and developing study skills and intercultural competence. The services include: Tutoring and Academic Coaching, Study Groups and Review Workshops, Study Skills and Diversity Workshops, and EAL Supports.
Student Accessibility Services RRC Polytech is committed to providing persons with documented disabilities fair and equal access to educational programs, services, and facilities. These services are available to students with all types of documented disabilities including physical, sensory, and learning disabilities as well as persons with chronic medical conditions or mental health disabilities.
Counselling services provides a range of services to support personal well-being for students including: Wellness Blog, Wellness Check, Counselling Services, Beacon Digital Therapy, and Same Day Crisis Service.
The Indigenous Student Supports team provides the tools and resources to help Indigenous students succeed. They provide holistic and interconnected wrap around supports that take the best of western and Indigenous ways of teaching and learning.
The International Student Support team provides services and supports understanding that life in a new environment can be disorienting. International Student Support Coordinators are available to assist and to help you navigate through these challenges.
Safety and Security Services is here to assist in providing a safe and secure environment for students and staff/faculty. Various services are offered including the Safe Walk Program that provides escorts for students and staff/faculty between two points at the Notre Dame Campus or Exchange District Campus, or to a point in close proximity to the College.
RRC Polytech is committed to preventing sexual violence, harassment and discrimination and to creating a safe and inclusive working, learning and living environment for everyone. If you have experienced any of the above, know that you are not alone and there are many supports, resources and people to help.
RRC Polytech has partnered with REES to provide online reporting for sexual violence on campus. Here, a survivor can create a record of the incident, choose various reporting options when ready, and learn about supports.
If you, or someone you know is in crisis there are external supports that can provide support and intervention 24 hours a day.

We recognize and honour Treaty 3 Territory Shoal Lake 40 First Nation, the source of Winnipeg’s clean drinking water. In addition, we acknowledge Treaty Territories which provide us with access to electricity we use in both our personal and professional lives.
