As a licensed practical nurse, you have in-depth knowledge and experience in your field. With a Nursing degree from RRC Polytech, you can take your career to the next level.
This pathway is designed for licensed practical nurses (LPNs) applying to the Nursing program. Upon completion, graduates can apply to obtain a licence as a registered nurse.
Through this program, you will earn a Bachelor of Nursing (BN) degree and become eligible to write the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN® exam). After completing the national exam and successfully becoming a member of the College of Registered Nurses of Manitoba (CRNM) you will be able to legally use the registered nurse (RN) designation.
Space for LPNs in the Nursing program varies from term to term. If you successfully meet the admission requirements for Nursing – Licensed Practical Nurse to BN Pathway you will join a waitlist. You will be admitted into the Nursing program once a space becomes available and may receive credits equivalent to a maximum of one year of programming.
Through this pathway program, you may be eligible to receive credits for the first three terms (first year) of the Nursing program, bypass the first three terms listed below and join the regular Nursing program in Term 4.
