The Information Security program will provide you with the technical skills to analyze, evaluate and respond to the information security needs of businesses and organizations.

In this post-graduate diploma program, you will explore security fundamentals and learn to use, test and design robust personal, enterprise and web-based information technology (IT) security systems. Full-time Delivery: Something New Every Term

In this program, you will learn to manage the security of various information systems and gain the practical skills needed to design secure systems, analyze risks and vulnerabilities and respond to security incidents.

TERM 1

Explore foundational security principles, networking basics, scripting and cryptography while developing technical communication skills.

TERM 2

Learn to manage risks, test for vulnerabilities and implement security infrastructure while further developing your communication and professionalism skills.

TERM 3

Analyze malware, respond to incidents and explore information security policies and processes while learning to keep websites and servers secure.

TERM 4

Build work experience and professional connections through a co-op work placement with a local employer or an industry project at the ACE Project Space.
