Through the Power Engineering Technology 3rd Class program, you’ll develop the advanced knowledge and technical skills you need to operate and maintain larger boiler-based power plants alongside refrigeration systems, HVAC systems and other critical building infrastructure.
After completing this program and obtaining a Power Engineering Technology 3rd Class diploma from RRC Polytech, you’ll have the in-depth knowledge and work experience needed to challenge Manitoba’s 3rd Class licensing exam.
After completing Terms 1 and 2 of the Power Engineering Technology 4th Class program – or receiving an Interprovincial Power Engineering 4th Class License – you can choose to enter the Power Engineering Technology 3rd Class program. In this program, you’ll obtain an RRC Polytech diploma and prepare to challenge Manitoba’s licensing exam for a 3rd Class Power Engineer.
