Graduates of the ASL–English Interpretation program will enter the workforce equipped with entry-level skills in both interpreting and professional practices as ASL–English interpreters. Recent graduates are able to make thoughtful interpreting decisions with confidence and are able to produce message-equivalent interpretations.
The program will prepare you to work as an entry-level interpreter in settings ranging from K–12 public schools to colleges, businesses and social services. You will work in multiple small and large groups, either in classes or community settings.
