Prepare for a dynamic career in one of the fastest-growing industries. Cybersecurity professionals protect information by identifying risks and implementing solutions to keep data safe. This two-year diploma program equips you with the knowledge and skills needed for an entry-level role in information security.

The program curriculum begins with foundational concepts in IT such as customer experience, networking, and security operations. Building on these concepts you will continue to develop your skills in such areas as vulnerability management and security monitoring, detection, and response. IT design principles, methodologies, incident management, and the laws and policies that apply to Information Security are also part of the curriculum.

Gain career-focused skills by practicing what you’re learning in hands-on simulated environments and in a work-integrated learning component, when you will work with industry clients solving real-world problems.

Full-time Delivery: Something New Every Term

In two years or less, you will learn how to deliver IT security services and technical solutions, apply frameworks and best practices, and protect businesses from security threats.

TERM 1

Apply customer experience (CX) techniques, discover network fundamentals and common IT security concepts, and build a foundation in security operations and collaborative communication skills.

TERM 2

Dive into IT architecture, security principles, and IT service management, apply security vulnerability strategies and build industry communication skills.

TERM 3

Learn project management basics, IT service operations and the security infrastructure lifecycle. Monitor and respond to security threats and advance your communication skills.

TERM 4

Gain career-focused skills through a work placement with an employer or through an industry project at the ACE Project Space.
