Hotel and Restaurant Management is a specialization program. Students interested in this program must apply to and complete the first common year of the Hospitality and Tourism Management program.
Through the Hotel and Restaurant Management program, you’ll develop the specialized management, business and service skills you need to excel in the food, beverage and accommodation sector.
In this program, you’ll explore advanced management, menu and room planning, accounting, marketing and customer service techniques. You’ll also build food preparation and mixology skills and expand your restaurant service and hospitality experience through practical learning labs, group projects and co-op work experiences.
After completing Hospitality and Tourism Management’s first common year (Terms 1 to 3), you can specialize in Hotel and Restaurant Management. In this program, you will develop the professional skills needed to work in food, drink and accommodation services across the hospitality industry.
Start your second-year specialization program and build fundamental restaurant management, menu planning, accounting and marketing skills.
