The Marine and Powersports Technician program prepares you for an apprenticeship or entry-level position in this exciting industry. You’ll build the technical skills and knowledge to pursue a variety of careers working with dealerships, rental agencies, construction companies, marinas, outfitter camps, golf courses, government agencies and standalone repair facilities.
You’ll use our state-of-the-art facilities to gain professional shop experience and explore precision measuring, preventative maintenance, diagnostic procedures and repair. You’ll also develop in-depth knowledge and practical experience with safety procedures, industry-standard tools, engines, fuel systems, electrical systems, seasonal storage, new vehicle prep, performance and tuning.
As a Marine and Powersports Technician student, you can improve your career potential by earning an endorsement from the Yamaha Technical Academy and the University of Polaris.
