The Technical Vocational Teacher Education program develops the practical planning, communication and technical skills required to teach designated and non-designated trades in high schools across Manitoba.
In this program, you will learn to plan, deliver and assess courses using Manitoba’s technical-vocational education curriculum and safely organize and manage lab/shop settings. You’ll also complete a student teaching practicum to help build practical skills and prepare for a successful career as a teacher.
Diploma: Graduates of the program will earn a diploma in Technical Vocational Teacher Education.
Degree: Graduates can continue their training through a joint program with a partner university to earn a Bachelor of Education degree.
