Residents can appeal a Sanction imposed under the Residence Contract within 5 business days of receiving the email/letter outlining the Sanction(s). To initiate the appeal a Resident must contact the Director of Ancillary Services via email/letter and submit all information supporting his/her appeal.
The Director may then interview the Resident, the individuals involved, and the Manager of Campus Living and will determine whether to uphold the discipline issued by Campus Living, increase or decrease the severity of discipline, or rescind the discipline. The decision of the Director is final.
In the event of an eviction appeal the Resident may request to stay in Residence during the appeal process. This request must be made in writing to the Director. The Director will consider the reasons for eviction and the risks associated with the Resident remaining in Residence and determine whether to grant or deny the request.
