Carpentry 

The Carpentry program provides students with knowledge of woodworking machines, blueprint reading and sketching, safe working practices and a familiarity with the materials and procedures needed to enter related occupations.  

During this five-month certificate program students will learn the safe and proper use of hand and power tools and woodworking machines. Also, they will develop practical skills in framing, roofing, and surveying and have some exposure to concrete form construction.

Health Care Aide

Develop the knowledge and skills needed to become a health care aide, helping people to remain independent by assisting them with their physical, emotional, and social needs and their daily activities. 

In this 20-week certificate program that offers a 240 hour (six week) clinical practicum, students will study related topics including interpersonal communications, growth and development, gerontological care, and home care. 

Join the front lines of Manitoba’s health-care system, helping to keep our neighbours and communities safe!

Human Resource Management

Prepare for a career in the fast-growing and key business field of Human Resource Management. Students will learn the fundamental components of an HR program, including staffing, recruitment, selection, compensation, training and development. 

This five-month certificate program is now accredited by the provincial certifying body, CPHR Manitoba, the Chartered Professionals in Human Resources Manitoba.
