Response to Christchurch Tragedy
This week, the College lowered its flags to half-mast at NDC to honour the memories of 49 innocent lives lost in last Friday’s terrorist attack against the Muslim community in Christchurch, New Zealand. As a College community we offer our condolences and support to all who were seriously injured and recovering from this senseless attack, and we offer our support to the Muslim community as we stand in solidarity against hatred in all of its forms.
Please know that you are supported at Red River College. If you are experiencing difficulties dealing with this tragedy please contact Counselling Services for support. Students in regional campuses can make appointments directly with a counsellor.
