Student Refugee Program Volunteer Opportunity
We are still looking for a current student to serve as a Volunteer for the Student Refugee Program and co-chair of the local committee at Red River College.
This is a volunteer position that would require an average of 3 hours/week commitment directly supporting the Student Refugee Program – significantly more in August and September, and less later on through the year. This person will attend the World University Service of Canada Leadership Meeting from August 16-18 in Ottawa, and will also serve as the Volunteer Support Person for the Student Refugee Program. Please see the attached position description for more details.
This position is open only to students who will be full-time students at Red River College in the upcoming year.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please see the attached position description for details, then send your resume & cover letter to Norlan Page at nopage@rrc.ca. In your cover letter, explain why you are passionate about refugee issues, and why you would be an excellent candidate for this position. Please respond by June 10th.
