Meet our New Diversity Ambassador, Ivy Duong!

Xin Chao! I go by the name Ivy and I’m a second-year student majoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management at Paterson Global Food Institute.

Coming from Vietnam with a strong collectivist culture just a year ago, I’m eager to learn more about all the different perspectives from the lovely people here so that it can help me continue on my journey of mastering myself. I strongly believe that each individual is unique. By welcoming, accepting, and learning from the differences, we are open to new experiences and eventually become a better version of ourselves, making this whole community a better place. I understand that there will always be challenges and tough times but keep in mind that you are not alone and we are all in this together.
