November is Career and Workforce Development Month in Manitoba and Red River College’s Student Employment Services has planned a month-long series of learning opportunities, live AMAs (Ask Me Anything) and interactive sessions to help students with their career development.

Check out what SES has planned for the first week!

In this short video, you’ll learn:

how to develop your profile and brand
how to seek advertised and unadvertised positions
how to network successfully to broaden your circle
strategies for both the online and offline worlds
strategies to match your interests with your search and manage your time in order to maximize results

Bring any and all job search questions to this 30-minute live Ask Me Anything session. An Employment Advisor will be available to provide answers, feedback and resources to make sure you’re on the right track with your job search.

Friday, November 13th

PREP-peroni Trivia: Job Search Edition!

Join this friendly online quiz competition to test your knowledge of job search preparation best practices. Compete against other RRC students for a chance to win a gift card for a pepperoni pizza (or any kind of pizza)!
