Meet the 2021-22 International Student Ambassadors

Each year three international students are selected to be International Student Ambassadors. Their mission is to promote diversity on campus, provide peer support and share experiences, and assist Red River College programs and services to organize events and activities.

It’s our pleasure to introduce the Ambassadors for this academic year:

Sijo Zachariah:

Sijo is from India and is studying Aircraft Maintenance on the Stevenson Campus.

He enjoys travelling, trekking, and gardening. He’s excited to meet new students and to create a diverse and safe environment for everyone to have a great time at Red River College.

Cheta D. Akaluka:

Cheta is from Nigeria and is studying Creative Communications at the Exchange District Campus.

Ahmed Mahi

Ahmed is from Bangladesh and is studying Business Administration (marketing) at the Exchange District Campus.

He enjoys extracurricular activities especially where he can interact and learn about people’s cultures, experiences, and stories. He would like to make or contribute to creating new activities or tweaking the activities that RRC currently provides so send your ideas for entertaining experiences.
