CRA/ARC: Learn about your taxes, A new online learning tool to support you and the community you serve
Learn about your taxes, a new online learning tool to support you and the community you serve The Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) has launched a new online learning tool to help youth, individuals who have never done their taxes before and new residents learn about taxes. It is also a great tool for anyone who needs a refresher! The Learn about your taxes resource can help you support your community members in improving their tax literacy, giving them the confidence they need so they can do their taxes on their own and access important benefits and credits.
The free online learning tool provides individuals with lessons that help them understand what taxes are, why we pay them, how to read their pay stubs and income tax slips, and how to do their taxes. Following each lesson, individuals can test themselves with exercises and quizzes. We are hoping you can help us in sharing this message with your networks. We would also appreciate any feedback you have on Learn about your taxes, as we will update the tool in the coming weeks. We welcome any suggestions to make the tool even more helpful for your community members.
