February is Black History Month

February is Black History Month. We want to invite you to take this opportunity to honor the legacy, achievements, and contributions of Black Canadians and communities. They have helped make Canada the culturally diverse, compassionate, and prosperous nation it is today.

In celebrating Black Canadian history, we recognize we still have much work to do in creating safe and equitable spaces for racialized members in our community. Therefore, we have compiled resources to learn more about Black History in Canada and online events you can attend.
