Technology Literacy Supports
The Academic Success Centre (Library & Academic Services) has a suite of services to support students’ technology literacy and skill development in the online environment.
- Tech Peer Tutors: We have experienced Peer Tutors who are available to meet virtually with students to help them learn how to use College-approved applications. Instructions on how to book an appointment with a Tech Peer Tutor can be found on our Tech Peer Tutors page. Students can also send an email to tutoring@rrc.ca if they require assistance with booking their first appointment.
- Workshop Recording: This “Introducing RRC Polytech Computer Applications” workshop recording provides an overview and basic skill development for using HUB, Office 365 (including Outlook), MS Teams, Webex, and LEARN.
- Technology Literacy Self-Enrollment Course: Students may enroll into this self-directed tutorial that provides basic skill development for using LEARN, HUB, Webex, MS Teams, and Office 365. The module features best practices and tips for using these collaborative apps and is designed to help students develop the foundational tech-skills needed to be successful online. Students can self-enroll into this tutorial here.
