We want to learn what cultural and transitional barriers you have experienced coming to Canada, learning in your programs, and in employment or workplace environments. We are also interested in learning what strategies you developed to overcome challenges or barriers which have helped you in your program and/or employment. Findings from this study will help inform curriculum and instructional practices, academic policies and services provides to international students, and industry/employer awareness.

The focus groups will be conducted via zoom in the spring and summer and be approximately 60-minutes. Our graduate student researcher, Brian Rochat, University of Saskatchewan, will conduct the focus group. You can learn more about the details of this study by joining us for a brief information session on March 15th at 4:00 p.m.
