RRC Polytech Career Services is the new name of RRC Polytech’s Student Employment Services!
Career Services offers students and recent graduates assistance with job search strategies, cover letter and résumé writing, interview preparation, employment application forms, informational interviews and current labor market information. Career Services provides personalized support and direction to students and recent graduates seeking summer, part-time, full-time and temporary employment.

Job Search Sessions: Get Job Search Ready with Career Services & ASC – Week 4
The Academic Success Centre (ASC) is partnering with Career Services to provide a comprehensive, interactive workshop series on the development of employment documents and skills for students. The Get Job Search Ready workshops will be delivered throughout July and August starting with the following Week 4 sessions:
Language for Profile and Skill Statements (Resumes): August 8, 2022 @ 4:00pm
The wording in resumes needs to be accurate and concise. During this workshop you will learn how to phrase your profile to target the job description and how to write effective skill statements to describe your skills from past work experiences.

Writing Strong Paragraphs (Cover Letters): August 10, 2022 @ 4:00pm
It’s true what they say about first impressions, and this is particularly important when writing covering letters for your resume. In this workshop you will learn how to write strong paragraphs as the foundation for a cover letter that gets you noticed . . . and hopefully a job interview!
