New Program in May 2023: Truck Transport Technology 2-Year Diploma Program

The Truck Transport Technology 2-year Diploma program provides students with the necessary skills to diagnose and repair today’s truck transport vehicles. Training alternates between the in-class, live shop and work experience.

  • Main subject areas include electrical diagnosis, electronics, ignition systems, engines, drive-lines, steering and suspension, brakes and fuel system.
  • Second-year students will have the opportunity to be involved in chassis and engine dynamometer projects in areas of emissions analysis, cold weather testing of hybrid and electrical vehicles and engine performance.
  • Upon graduation, students will receive a level two apprenticeship accreditation.

 

Admissions Requirements:

  • Submit proof of graduation from Grade 12, including one credit in each of the following.3
    • Grade 12 English
    • Grade 12 Math
    • Grade 10 Science
  • English Language
    • IELTS – Listening 6.5, Speaking 6.5, Reading 6.5, Writing 5.5
    • TOEFL iBT – Listening 20, Speaking 20, Reading 19, Writing 18
    • PTE – Listening 58, Speaking 58, Reading 58, Writing 42
