Fraud Awareness for International Students RCMP Virtual Information Session – February 23, 12PM
Recently, there has been a rise in the number of scams, especially those targeted at international students. It is important to learn about some of the frauds and scams that can happen in Canada, as well as to become aware of available resources and actions you can take to stay safe.
Fraud Awareness for International Students RCMP Virtual Information Session will be a great place to start. The Royal Canadian Mounted Police(RCMP)’s Federal Policing Prevention and Engagement Unit has organized this virtual session to ensure that if you are targeted, you will be able to recognize the scam and know what to do next. There will be presenters from the Canada Border Services Agency(CBSA), Bank of Canada, and RCMP.
