Canadian Connection Program: Guest for a Day @ Winnipeg Folk Festival

Are you interested in learning more about the local and global folk music scene?  If so, join us for a full-day of music and fun.

The Winnipeg Folk Festival has extended a warm invite for immigrant and international students from Red River College to be guests at the 2019 Winnipeg Folk Festival at Birds Hill Provincial Park on Sunday, July 14th. Student will receive free admission, a guided tour of the festival grounds, free transit transportation and a lunch ticket to try the food stations. This is an exciting musical event that you don’t want to miss.

Tickets will be distributed to students who are interested on a first come, first serve basis. One (1) ticket per student will be offered. If you would like to attend the Winnipeg Folk Festival, please respond to this e-mail providing the following information:

  • Name
  • Student Number
  • Your Program
  • If you are an Immigrant or International Student.
  • Why you would like to attend the Winnipeg Folk Festival?

If you are selected to receive a free pass to the music festival, you will be contacted directly not later than June 28 2019. Detailed information and meeting times will be provided at this time to selected students.
