Voluntary Withdrawal Options
Due to COVID-19, RRC has extended its voluntary withdrawal date for students up to and including the last day of the Fall term, prior to the administering of a final exam (where applicable). If you have been struggling in your program and expect to fail several of your courses, you may consider withdrawing before the end of the course to receive a VW grade, and avoid potential academic probation or suspension.
For more information, see the College’s Academic Calendar and the Program Withdrawal Form, or contact us at iesupport@rrc.ca.
Please contact your Program Coordinator and your International Student Support Coordinator before you withdraw, to ensure that you have a plan in place for your next steps. Availability in academic programs in the Winter 2021 term is very limited. In addition, you may wish to discuss a plan for improving your outcomes in a future program. COVID-19 has changed many things for students, but there are many supports to help you succeed.
