A valid study permit is required before you can apply to extend the temporary resident visa while residing in Canada. If this applies to you, choose “I have a study permit for a specific institution or level of Canada”.
Have you had a medical exam performed by an IRCC authorized panel physician (doctor) within the last 12 months?

A medical exam is needed before you submit your application for foreign nationals who:
- want to stay in Canada for more than six months and have lived in one or more designated countries or territories for more than six months in the past year or;
