A Big Thank You to Our Volunteers at Harvest Manitoba!

We had 46 students who volunteered at Harvest Manitoba, and it was fantastic to see such enthusiasm!

The activity served as both an educational experience and a platform for fostering connections and insights into community resources.  In addition, the act of giving back and feeling needed alleviated the sense of isolation often felt by international students celebrating holidays in a new country away from family and friends.

The overwhelming interest in volunteering reflects students’ desire to connect and contribute to the local community. Moving forward, the International Student Support Team is committed to collaborating with local organizations to provide more meaningful volunteer opportunities.
