Thank you for joining us at Camp Manitou!

Thank you to all the students who joined us at the Camp Manitou event on April 13, 2024!

Through the Canadian Connection Program, the students were able to enjoy a day full of outdoor activities. This program provides students with the opportunity to experience social, cultural, and recreational activities engage in college life, and connect with the Winnipeg community. Some of the activities we participated in included:

Bannock making: We prepared traditional Bannock over a fire and got the opportunity to enjoy our creation once it was done! The students liked eating this delicious snack topped with butter and brown sugar.

Skating: Outdoor skating is a very popular activity in Canada. This event allowed students to get laced up and take a spin around the rink. A lot of slipping and sliding happened here but it was a great time. If you are interested in joining us for a future event, please check this newsletter for updates.
