Connect to student email using Android mail app

The Android mail app allows you to access your email, calendar, contacts, and OneDrive files from within the app.

  1. Tap the Android mail app icon.

  2. Tap Exchange.

  3. Enter your College email address and password, and then tap Sign in.

  4. Read the IT policy on security settings, and if you consent, click Agree.

  5. Tap Activate to allow email to activate the device admin app.

    Your inbox will open.

NOTE: If you are not redirected to the RRC Polytech log-on page, you can manually add your student mailbox to your device using these instructions.

  1. Enter your College email address.
  2. Enter the mail server as mail.academic.rrc.ca.
  3. Enter the domain as your email address, username@academic.rrc.ca.
  4. Enter your password.
  5. Enter a description, “school,” for example, if you like.
  6. Click Sign In.


Add an account

  1. Open email inbox.
  2. Tap the menu menu icon icon on the top left-hand side.

  3. Tap the gear gear icon icon at the top middle of the page.

  4. Tap + Add Account.

  5. Choose the email type (this example uses a Gmail address).

  6. Enter the email address, and tap Next.

  7. Enter your password, and tap Next.

  8. Tap Allow to allow Samsung Email to operate your Gmail.

Delete an account

  1. Open email inbox.
  2. Tap the menu menu icon icon on the top left-hand side.

  3. Tap the gear gear icon icon at the top middle of the page.

  4. Choose the email that you would like to delete.
    tap the email to delete
  5. Tap Remove at the top right-hand side.
    tap sync
  6. Tap Remove in the Remove account window.
