Create an email signature

Create an email signature

  1. In Outlook on the web, click the Gear at the top right banner.

  2. Click Accounts, then click Signatures and then click + New signature.

  3. Type a Signature Name and then create the signature, using the tools and options below, including the More (…) button. When done, click Save.

    NOTE: To add the College‑approved signature, click Marketing Toolkit Typography Templates and Signage.

Edit or delete a signature

  1. In Outlook on the web, click the Gear at the top right banner.

  2. Click Accounts and then Signatures.

  3. Using the dropdown, select the signature you want to edit. You may Rename the signature and/or change the information in the signature. You may also Delete the signature in this window.

Insert your new signature manually

  1. In Outlook, on the Home tab, click New and then click Mail.

  2. On the Insert tab, click Signature, and then select the preferred signature. It will be added to the body of your email.

Set your default signatures

  1. Click Accounts and then Signatures.

  2. Scroll down to the Set default signatures section on the right side. Using the dropdowns, select your preferred signatures for New Messages and for Replies/Forwards, and then click Save.
