Change Teams device settings

  1. Plug the USB-C dock into your laptop.

  2. Open the Team desktop app, then click the ellipsis (…) in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, and then click Settings.

  3. Hover over the left-hand toolbar, and when the Settings menu opens, click Devices.

  4. Select the following options in Audio Settings:
    • If the Speaker field has Headphones (HP USBC-C Dock Audio Headset) or similar selected, then use the dropdown to select Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio).
    • If the Microphone field has Microphone (HP USB-C Dock Audio Headset) or similar selected, then use the the dropdown to select Microphone Array (Intel Smart Sound Technology for Digital Microphones).
    • Then click the Make a test call button to perform a test call to confirm that the sound is working.
