Enable automatic DNS and IP address – Apple mobile devices
To connect to the RRC PolytechWireless network, ensure that your wireless network adapter is setup to automatically obtain an IP address and a DNS server address by following these steps:
- Tap the Settings icon.
- Under Settings, tap the Wi‑Fi tab on the left‑hand pane.
NOTE: For some Apple devices, under Settings, tap the General tab on the left‑hand pane, and then tap Wi‑Fi.
- On the Wi‑Fi menu, tap the (i) button next to the RRCWireless network name.
- On the RRCWireless menu, choose Automatic in the Configure IP drop‑down menu, and then choose Automatic in the Configure DNS drop‑down menu.
- Exit out of Settings, and then launch your web browser (or any network application) to ensure that you can connect to the wireless network.
