Windows 11 accessibility features with guides

Vision

Click Vision features to find information on:

  • Narrator – a screen-reading application built into Windows 11
  • Colour controls – turn on high contrast mode for low vision
  • Display and vision – adjust text size, use contrast themes, change text cursor and mouse pointer
  • Magnifier – makes your whole screen or a part of it bigger
  • Colour filters – change the color palette to help you distinguish between things that differ only by color

Hearing

  • Live Captions – automatically transcribe spoken content from any audio, even from the microphone
  • Adjust captions settings – lets you read the words spoken in the audio portion of a video, TV show, or movie
  • Adjust sound settings – convert stereo sound into a single channel so that you can hear everything, even if you are using just one headphone

Mobility

  • Use voice access – enables everyone, including people with mobility disabilities, to control their PC and author text using their voice
