Indoor Bike Parking

Staff, faculty and students at the Exchange District Campus can park their bikes in one of the two Bike Rooms listed below. This is a great option for our downtown commuters as the Bike Rooms are card-swipe secured.

EDC Bike Rooms

Paterson GlobalFoods Institute (PGI) Bike Room

  • Located in the basement of the building, near the elevators.
  • 35 wall-mounted bike racks

Manitou a bi Bii daziigae Bike Room

  • Located on the main floor, accessible from inside the building and also from the street (Elgin Ave).
  • 16 wall-mounted bike racks, including 4 fat bike friendly racks.
  • Showers available for use by bike room users
  • 12 full-size lockers available to rent exclusively for bike room users. Fees are $25 per term and come with a combination lock (see below for terms dates). Contact the Campus Store for details.

To sign up for access to one of our bike rooms, simply fill out our Bike Room User Agreement and email it to campusstore@rrc.ca.

Notes

  • You will need a valid student or staff card to get access to the room. Once you have received confirmation that your access has been granted, you will be able to access your chosen bike room by swiping your staff or student card. ID cards can be obtained at a Student Service Centre (there may be a fee for replacement card)
  • Bike room users must bring their own locks and use the bike racks provided. Bikes must be stored vertically using only one spot.
  • Terms for bike room access are listed below. Access will expire on the last day of the term (subject to change). Please contact the Campus Store prior to your expiry date if you wish to continue your bike room access for a subsequent term. If you wish to cancel before your term ends, contact campusstore@rrc.ca.
    • January 1 to April 30
    • May 1 to August 31
    • September 1 to December 31
  • Don’t forget to follow these tips to dramatically increase the security of your bike.
