One of the benefits of the scramble/zone program is that the likelihood of there not being an open stall at any given time in any given zone is incredibly low. If you are unable to find an open stall in one lot, others will be available to you within your selected zone.
No. We encourage everyone to purchase their permits early to ensure they can purchase the zone that best fits their needs. However, you will only be able to park in a zone if you have the corresponding permit.
Pay stations can be found inside the bus loop doors, at the entrance of building D/E, inside the building T doors, and in the lounge of building Z. The PayByPhone app is still available and all lot codes are displayed in Daily parking areas for your convenience.

Yes. Notre Dame Campus has 17 EV charge stations of various levels, as well as two at the Stevenson Aviation campus. Use of a charging station requires that you have either a valid Power permit or have paid Daily parking.
Internal College staff may request guest parking at any time through the online form. Once approved and registered, guests may park in any of the designated Daily parking areas on campus.
Staff visiting NDC from other campuses for meetings must contact the Commuting and Parking office by email prior to their arrival, otherwise parking must be paid for on site. Once registered, visiting staff may park in any of the designated Daily areas on campus
Students may purchase a parking permit in advance of their first day through the online parking portal. You will be required to park in your designated zone when you arrive on campus. Students may also purchase Daily parking for their first day through the PaybyPhone app or at any of the onsite pay stations. All Daily parkers are to park in the designated Daily areas on campus
Commuting and Parking uses license plate recognition technology to enhance the efficiency of operations and contributes to RRC Polytech’s sustainability efforts by reducing the amount of plastic and paper consumed annually.
To ensure compliance with the system, it is the responsibility of all students and staff to ensure their registered license plate is up to date. Monthly/term permit holders may update their vehicles through their online profile. Daily/Casual parkers will be required to enter their license plate at the pay stations or through the mobile app.
Failure to keep your license plates up to date will result in parking tickets.
No. The bus loop is a designated fire lane area. Unattended vehicles parked in the bus loop are subject to a ticket and towed at the owner’s expense. Unattended vehicles parked in the bus loop are subject to a $150.00 ticket and will be towed at the owner’s expense.
No. Parking overnight is not permitted except in emergency circumstances. Any vehicle left onsite between 12:01 am and 6 am without prior approval from the Commuting and Parking office will be towed at the owner’s expense. Please contact parking@rrc.ca if you require overnight accommodation.
Parkers may must apply for a parking pass refund. Refunds will be issued only to the original pass holder and will be calculated from the day the pass is returned. Passes with 15days or less until expiry will not be eligible for a issued a refund. All refunds will be subject to a $30.00 administrative processing fee. Contact parking@rrc.ca for more details.
