Joining the Student Campus Alerting Team Chat By Computer
Students can receive campus alerts by joining the Campus Alerting Teams chat.
- Open Microsoft Teams, and select the ‘Teams’ icon, on the left menu bar
- On the top right corner of the screen, select ‘Join or Create Team’
- Enter the code s5ikuct in the text box and select ‘Join team’
- Select the ‘Teams’ icon, on the left menu bar again
- Go to the Team – Student Campus Alerting. Select the ‘Campus Alerts‘ channel and select the three dots to the right-hand side of the page.
- Select ‘Channel Notifications‘
- Under the Channel notification settings window, to the left of “All new posts”, select “Banner and feed” from the drop-down list and click save.
You are now set up to receive Campus Alerting Notifications from RRC Polytech’s Campus Alerting System.
