Student Service Centres

The Student Service Centres serve as the information centres and first point of contact for all RRC Polytech students and visitors. The Centres offer a variety of services in one convenient location and support students by phone, email and in person.

Photo ID Cards

Exchange District and Regional Campus Students

Students attending the Exchange District Campus or a regional campus may submit a photo for their Photo ID card to photoid@rrc.ca. Full name and student ID number must be included in the email subject line.

Photos which do not meet the requirements listed below will not be accepted. You will be notified via RRC Polytech academic email once your Photo ID card is available for pick up.

Important: Photo submission is open only to Exchange District and regional campus students.

Photo ID Card Requirements

  1. You must be a currently admitted student attending the Exchange District Campus or a Regional Campus
  2. The photo you upload must be a passport-style photograph:
    • The focus must be clear and sharp
    • Your eyes should be open and clearly visible
    • The lighting should be even, with no shadows, glare, or flash reflections
    • Your face and shoulders must face the camera straight-on, and be centred and squared
    • The background should be plain white or light-coloured
    • Your photo must be an original that has not been altered in any way or cropped from an existing photo
    • Photos must be submitted in JPEG format, 5 MB max
  3. You will need to provide proof of identity in the form of government-issued identification when you pick up your Photo ID card

You will be notified once your ID is available for pick up.

Exchange District Campus Replacement Photo ID Cards

Exchange District Campus students and staff who have lost their photo ID card and require a replacement can email photoid@rrc.ca with their full name and student ID number requesting a new Photo ID card. A new photo submission is not required, your current photo on file will be used.

Notre Dame Campus Students

Students attending programs at the Notre Dame Campus must visit the Notre Dame Campus Student Service Centre to have their photo taken and Photo ID card printed.
